Special Screening of 'Dharam Sankat Main'

Directed by Fuwad Khan the movie 'Dharam Sankat Main' belongs to the 'practically religious' genre under which all the society myths and superstitions experience a jerk.
As the release date of the movie is coming close, the makers of this upcoming movie hosted a special screening of their film for close friends and colleagues from the industry. The screening was nothing less than a starry affair. At the screening we saw veteran actress Pooja Bhatt who has now expanded her realm to direction and production. Snapped at the special screening was comedy king Chunky Pandey along with film and theater actor Saurabh Shukla.

Also present at the screening was Bollywood's handsome hunk Dino Morea, who is now making his presence felt among the industry folks these days. Dino also walked the ramp recently for designer Sahil Aneja, at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2015. B-town beauties Hazel Keech and Sophie Choudry being part of the movie, attended the screening. Divya Dutta, Ali Fazal and music director Vishal Dadlani were others who were there to support the film.

The movie features veteran actors Paresh Rawal, Naseeruddin Shah, and Annu Kapoor in lead roles and is an adaptation of the hugely successful British film ‘The Infidel’.

The plot revolves around a Hindu man Dharampal, who goes through an identity crisis when he discovers he was adopted as a child, and was born to a Muslim family.

Being based on religious satire, the movie falls under the same genre as OMG: OH MY GOD! and PK. Since the viewers have already witnessed the prior two films much before 'Dharam Sankat Main', the comparisons and the similarities are bound to be there.

We have already seen these three prolific actors creating magic with their talent on the silver screen, we wonder what a power packed performance it will be by them together!

Despite having touched upon a very religiously sensitive topic, the director seems to have tried his level best to keep the film as simple as possible and has ensured that the plot doesn't go overboard. Set to hit the theatres on 10 April, the movie is produced under the banners of Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Trigno Media.
